SAPP Beaufort cash aid to 100 students

BEAUFORT, 16 January 2022: A hundred students from Beaufort, Membakut and Bongawan to receive their school aid organised by Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Beaufort Division CLC.

Its chairman Jamain Sarudin, who is also SAPP Youth Chief, said 100 applications were received by the area coordinator to which he and his committee agreed and started handing over the school aid in the form of cash last Sunday in Beaufort, followed by Membakut and other areas the following week.

“This cash aid will provide the opportunity for parents to prep and buy their children’s school necessities,” said Jamain.

Parents of these students are grateful to receive such assistance and they hope that it could be continued next year.

This event is under the Sentuhan Kasih program of the appointed assemblyman, Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee, said Jamain.

“As for the Beaufort area, we opted for the cash assistance, while different activities may be held according the needs of the people in other areas.

Also present were Beaufort CLC vice chairman Oh Sing Siong, CLC Youth Chief Clarence Oh Sing Bee and Benedict Besinter, its CLC Information Chief.
