KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Sabah (GS or United Sabah Alliance) will be holding a National Convention on 4 March 2018, in Hakka Hall, Tanjung Lipat, here
Datuk Richard Yong, central council member of GS, said, the programme will start at 10am, some 3 thousands attendance are expected to witness this historical moment, the journey for Sabah on its way to regain autonomy.
In conjunction with this event, GS will launch its GE14 Elections Manifesto, and explain through speeches by leaders from all the four parties under GS, namely Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR), Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP), Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (HARAPAN) and Parti Perpaduan Rakyat Sabah (PPRS).
There will be a gallery exhibition and souvenir display at the venue.
Melanie Chia, GS central committee cum deputy president of SAPP, is the organising chairperson for this political convention, which is jointly organised by the four local parties.
Richard is confident that the people of Sabah believe only the independent Sabah-based political parties would champion a truly Sabahan Government, which will secure and protect Sabahans’ original rights stated in MA63, IGC report and 20-points.
“The people’s confidence in GS has grown tremendously as they could see unity amongst all races is becoming a reality into one identity, called Sabahans.”
“They saw the difference between Borneo Agenda and Malaya Agenda, whereby GS is focusing on Borneo Agenda, aimed to make Sabah rich and bring prosperity to every Sabahan.”
“Sabahans know that it is time to take control and decide their own destiny!” said Richard.
