KOTA KINABALU, January 4, 2018: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) headed by its president Datuk Yong Teck Lee, led a Gabungan Sabah walkabout at the Sunday Gaya Street fair as part of the party’s activities and campaign in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year.
Those who accompanied were Datuk Yong’s spouse Datin Stella, SAPP’s Deputy President Melanie Chia Chui Ket, its Secretary-General Datuk Richard Yong We Kong, Information Chief Chong Pit Fah, Treasurer-General Japiril Suhaimin, Vice President Aloysius Siap Supreme Councillors Lim Kat Chung, Chin Vui Kai and Charles Yong Chin Yung, Youth Exco Gee Tien Siong and Dexter Chin,party members and spouses.
Also joining the walkabout were former SAPP Deputy President and ex-Sepanggar MP Datuk Eric Majimbun, Parti Harapan Rakyat Vice President Patrick Sadom and its Secretary-General Abdin Darus.
The walkabout campaign started at 9 am and ends at 11 am with the distribution of Chinese New Year Greeting card and calendar including Gabungan Sabah’s 15 core struggles.
Subsequent walkabouts will be organised for Segama, Lido, Foh Sang and other areas until 14 February according to Melanie Chia.
