SAPP to decide status in Barisan

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) supreme council will decide on Sept 17 its status in Barisan Nasional.

SAPP president Datuk Yong Teck Lee said this on Saturday.

The party had taken a no-confidence stand in the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi recently.

The party has two MPs and four state assemblymen including Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Raymond Tan who is opposing Yong’s no-confidence move against the Prime Minister.
