Three new faces among SAPP’s six candidates

The Supreme Council of SAPP at its 233rd meeting this afternoon has unanimously approved the party candidates to contest in the coming Sabah elections on November 29.

Reflecting its party culture of discipline and good organisation, the party is the first political party to announce candidates.

With the Supreme Councillors and officers in high spirits at the Party Headquarters at Kota Kinabalu, party president Datuk Yong Teck Lee announced the candidates as follows:

N. 19 Likas – Yong Yit Jee, age 38, lawyer, SAPP Supreme Councillor, SAPP Youth Vice Chairman,

N.21 Luyang – Gee Tien Siong, age 52, businessman, activist, social worker, SAPP Vice-President,

N.27 Limbahau – Datuk Edward Dagul, age 59, businessman, former Youth Leader, SAPP Deputy President,

N.36 Kundasang – Datuk Japiril Suhaimin, age 62, businessman, ex-SUHAKAM Secretary, SAPP Deputy President / Treasurer General,

N.56 Tg. Papat – Henley Liew Yun Ye, age 57, retired school principal, SAPP Tg. Papat CLC Vice Chairman,

N.61 Segama – Yvonne Yong Yit Phung, age 40, businesswoman, social activist, SAPP Mudanita Chief (Young Women Wing),

Yong Yit Jee (Likas), Henley Liew Yun Ye (Tg. Papat) and Yvonne Yong Yit Phung (Segama) are new faces (first time candidates).
