Gee: Foh Sang Multi-storey Car Park construction on target

Kota Kinabalu, 11 December 2021: The construction progress of Foh Sang Multi-storey Car Park (FSMCP) began to step up its construction after some delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic MCO restrictions, said Gee Tien Siong.

Gee, vice president of Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) said the contractor will keep up with its target to deliver the project by 31 December 2022.

Gee, with his team and KMC Luyang Kapitan Foo Hoe Weng, were briefed by the contractor of FSMCP on its latest development, this morning.

The construction which was started in February 2020 will be equipped with 321 car park bays and 22 motorcycle parking spaces. There will be hawker lots and the Luyang Police Beat base will be relocated there.

Gee urged members of the public who stay and work near the site under construction to bear with him the inconveniences it may cause for the moment.

“Once it is completed, people can expect a smoother traffic flow within the business district,” he said.
