Taman Kim Leng residents relieved problem resolved

KOTA KINABALU, October 12, 2021: Taman Kim Leng residents and house owners can now breathe a sigh of relief when the City Hall Engineering Department repaired the stretch of collapsed drain caused by landslip during heavy rains a few weeks ago.

The reconstructed drain will be supported by concrete struts to strengthen it against future collapse. As part of the agreement between the house owner Mr Chee and City Hall (DBKK), reinstating the damaged fence will be the responsibility of the house owner.

Mr. Chee expressed his thanks to DBKK for their prompt attention and action. He also thanked Dexter Chin of SAPP for their swift response on his complaint and coordination with all parties to resolve the case.

Dexter Chin, a vice chief of Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Youth Movement is also SAPP KK Parliamentary Constituency Youth Chief was constantly monitoring the situation, took the opportunity to have a dialogue with residents on issues around the neighbourhood.

“We are always keeping our eyes open to highlight the problems of the residents so that their problems can be resolved through the proper channels,” Dexter said.
