Gee, who is Perikatan Nasional candidate for N.21 Luyang said the people in Luyang expressed their support for Perikatan Nasional and the Federal Government for effectively containing the Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia.

They also praised the federal government under the Prime Ministership of Tan Sri Muhyddin for allocating huge sums of financial assistance and packages such as Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN) to help the people whose livelihoods are affected by the pandemic.

Gee shared the concern and worries by the residents that the dengue situation in the Luyang area has not been improved. He said according to data from the State Department of Health in Kota Kinabalu, Luyang is one of the worst affected areas on cases of dengue fever.

Cases of dengue fever have been reported in the Luyang constituency since the end of last year but the former state assemblyman only just voiced his concern about this matter.
