Gee, who is Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) and Perikatan Nasional candidate for N21 Luyang, said residents in Luyang have been facing this troubling flood problem and had made complaints but no solution was in sight.
Gee and his team are discussing how to resolve this problem. The flood water level which reached from 1 to 2 feet has made it inaccessible by smaller cars using the stretch of road. Blockage from debris accumulated over time and no clearing maintenance made the problem worse.
He said the former Luyang YB has announced a RM74 million flood mitigation plan for Luyang and Lido areas but until today, no work has been done. Is it just another of the empty promises, Gee asked. Gee, who will be contesting against five other candidates, promises to look into this problem and resolve this if elected and hopes the voters of Luyang constituency put their trust in the Perikatan Nasional government for better future for Sabah.
