KOTA KINABALU, 10 Tuesday, 2018: The public revelations yesterday at Semporna by the UMNO President, Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak that he has been back stabbed by his close friend and ex-UMNO Vice President, DatukShafie Aqdal, and the responses by Datuk Shafie and Sabah Umno Chairman Datuk Musa Aman proves an open secret, said Gabungan Sabah Chairman Datuk Mohd. He said that the Musa-Shafie fiasco is merely a power struggle between the Musa and Shafie factionsin UMNO. The UMNO internal power struggle was never about Sabah rights, Sabah autonomy, MA63, solving the Sabah illegal immigration crisis.
‘At the federal level, the fight between the opposition and the UMNO is no different, that it was an UMNO internal conflict for posts and power and NOTHING to do with Sabah and Sarawak rights and MA63.It is for this reason that we Sabahans must reject these Ketuanan Malaya politics.
“It is Malayapolitics that have damaged Malaysia. It is the resources of Sabah and Sarawak that have saved Malaysia from bankruptcy. It is the oil and gas of Sabah and Sarawak that have powered Malaysia’s economy.
“And yet the BN-UMNO government is unwilling to implement the Malaysia Agreement 1963 such as fulfilling the 40% entitlement of revenues to Sabah and the implementation of the Borneonisation of the public service in Sabah.In the coming elections, Sabahans must reject Malaya politics once and for all and vote in Sabah parties that have united under Gabungan Sabah. Only Gabungan Sabah is truly Sabahan. All other parties are merely stooges of Malaya parties.
