Masalah bekalan letrik Pulau Gaya

KOTA KINABALU, November 14, 2012: Sudah beberapa bulan tiang tiang letrik dan pendawaian luaran siap dilaksanakan di kampung kampung Pulau Gaya, malangnya hingga kehari ini tenaga letrik belum pun nampak disambung ke rumah rumah penduduk persekitaran.

Ini adalah satu persoalan yang menjadi tanda tanya yang tiada siapa yang boleh menjawabnya.

Dalam lawatan Pengerusi SAPP CLC N17 Tanjung Aru, Datuk Richard Yong We Kong, bersama rombongannya ke Kg. Pasir Putih, Kg. Kesuapan Pulau Gaya mendapati bahawa ramai penduduk penduduk kampung merungut tentang masalah tenaga letrik yang sudah lama dijanji janjikan.

Beberapa orang kampung yang menemui Datuk Richard Yong membuat aduan bahawa pada 8hb November,2012, mereka telah menerima sepucuk surat dari Pejabat Ketua Kampung Pulau Gaya, mengumumkan bahawa seorang kontraktor akan membuat kerja kerja pendawaian dalaman pada bila bila masa sahaja. Untuk membuat kerja kerja pendawaian dalaman tersebut, mereka harus membayar deposit berjumlah RM400.00 dan selesai siap mereka harus membayar RM400.00 lagi.

Seorang penduduk menyatakan bahawa beberapa bulan yang lalu mereka diberitahu bahawa pihak Kerajaan akan mengeluarkan bantuan subsidi berjumlah RM500.00 untuk kerja kerja penyambungan pendawaian rumah kerumah. Persoalannya, sekiranya perkara ini benar mengapa mereka harus mengeluarkan kos berjumlah RM800.00 untuk memasukkan tenaga kerumah mereka?

Datuk Richard Yong mencadangkan setelah mendengar aduan aduan ini, supaya pihak yang benar benar berkuasa dalam hal ini mengambil tindakan sewajarnya demi menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi.
